Exchange Student Program

According to the exchange agreement signed between Yanbian University and foreign universities, students can study Chinese at our school or take Bachelor Degree courses as required.The maximum duration of exchangeprogram is usually one academic year.

1.Qualifications for application

1) Non-Chinesecitizen aged 18-45and in good health

2) Studentsare enrolled to thecolleges and universities who have signed exchange agreements with our university and recommended by the International Exchange Department of dispatching colleges to study in Yanbian University

3) A person can be able to consciously abide by China's laws and regulations , school rules and regulations, respect Chinese customs, and have the ability to complete the sudy task

2.Required applicationdocuments

1)Download and fill out（YBU international students application form for admission）

2) 6 2inch photos with white background and electronic version (3.5cm*5.3cm, not less than 320*240 pixels, size 100-500Kb, JPG format)

3)photo page ofvalid passport

4) Registered permanent residency

5)Certificate of enrollment

6)Official transcripts

7)Certificate of HSK (if applicable)

8) One letter of recommendation issued by the International Exchange Department (stamped with the official seal of the school)

9)Certificate of employment of financial sponsor

Note:

1.Applicants may be asked to submit supplementary notarized documents and physical exam result when needed for evaluation. whether accepted or not, all application documents are non-refundable.
2.All the original copies of required application documents must be submitted when register at school.Any forged documents founded will cause rejection of admission before or when register at school.

4. Semester’s Schedule

1)For the students whose Chinese level is under HSK4: schedule is same with Chinese language program

2) For the students whose Chinese level is over HSK4 and have been accepted by relative major:schedule is same with the bachelor degree program

5.Registration period

Register at Foreign Students Office on before September starts or before February ends. (please refer to academic calendar)

6. Tuition Fee

1) Application fee is exempt; tuition and accommodation fees are implementedin accordance with the agreement between the two schools.

2) Students Insuranceis mandatory(insurance must be purchased as required by school), visa fee, medical examination fee, teaching material fee and so on.

7. Major Courses (Duration: half year – one year)
