Teaching Chineseto speakers of other languages(4-year undergraduate program, for beginner)

1. Qualifications for application

1）Non-Chinesecitizen aged 18-45and in good health

2）With a degree equivalent toHigh school or above

3）No Chinese foundationrequired

4）Applicants who pass the entrance exam and interviewcan apply to transfer up to 1st semester of 3rd year (Chinese Language certificate must be submitted )

5) Abide by Chinese laws and regulations , school rules and regulations, respect Chinese customs and traditions, and have the ability to complete study task

2. Required Documents

please submit all the scanned copies of following documents, and submit the original copies when register at school

1) Download and fill out（Application form for international students to study in YBU）

2) 6 2inched-photos with white background and electronic version (3.5cm*5.3cm sizedhigher than 320*240 pixels between100-500Kb, JPG format)

3)photo page ofvalid passport

4) household register

5)Certificate of high school diploma or higher academic degree certificate

6) Officialtranscripts of relative academic degree

7)Certificate of HSK test result (for Transferred students only)

8) Certificate ofemployment (if you are currently working or have worked before)

9) Certificate of expected graduation ( if you are currently admitted to a school and expected to receive degree before register atYanbian university)

10) Certificate ofemployment of financial sponsor

4.Semester’s Schedule

1)1st Semester (Fall Semester): Start at the beginning of September-end in the end of December; (during 16th-17th weeks: exam week and closing ceremonies)

2)Second semester (Spring Semester): Start at the end of February-end in the end of June (during16th-17thweeks: exam week and closing ceremonies)

5.Registration Period

1) Register at International Students Office in the beginning of September or late February (please refer to academic calendar)

2) Transferred Students: Registerby the end ofFebruary and before September starts, entrance exam might be needed.

6.Teaching method

1）If thenumber of students enrolled in classes at the same level in the same semester is 10 or over 10, which can be held separately

2）If the number of students enrolled in classes at the same level in the same semester is less than 10,then bachelor degree students and Chinese Language programstudents will join in same courses when curriculum is overlapped.

Bachelor Degree Program(study with Chinese undergraduate students)

1. Qualifications for application

1) Non-Chinesecitizen aged 18-45and in good health

2) With a degree equivalent toHigh school or above

3)Certificate of HSK level 4 or above for program taught in Chinese; relativelanguage proficiency certificate is required for other language teaching program

4) Students withrelative academic background can apply totransfer to study in appropriate class by passing relative college interviewand entrance exam (up to the 1^st semester of3^rd year )

5) Abide by Chinese laws and regulations , school rules and regulations, respect Chinese customs and traditions, and have the ability to complete study task

2. Required Documents

1) Download and fill out（Application form forinternational studentsto study in YBU）

2) 6 2inched-photos with white background and electronic version (3.5cm*5.3cm, not less than 320*240 pixels, size 100-500Kb, JPG format)

3) Photo page ofvalid passport

4) Household register

5)Certificate of high school diploma or higher academic degree certificate

6) Official transcripts of relative academic degree

7) Certificate of Language Proficiency (certificate of HSK4 or relativeteaching language proficiency)

8) Certificate of employment (if you are currently working or have worked before)

9) Certificate of employmentof financial sponsor
